Criminals attacked CBN bullion van, killed two policemen

Two policemen were killed on Tuesday at Hawan Kibo along the Jos-Abuja Road after furnished criminals assaulted a bullion van having a place with the Central Bank of Nigeria. 

The bullion van and the policemen had left Jos in the early hours of Tuesday on the
way to Abuja. 

It was learnt that after a military checkpoint along Hawan Kibo, the criminals, who were in military regalia, rose up out of a hedge and drew in the police group in a shootout. 

Two policemen were slaughtered. One of the perished policemen was distinguished as Sergeant Anthony Jawa, of the Police Mobile Force, Unit 8, Jos.
