Oni condemns calls for Buhari's Resignation

The Deputy National Chairman (South), All Progressives Congress, Chief Segun Oni, has depicted those requiring the abdication of President Muhammadu Buhari as "questionable" and "mischievous".

The former legislative leader of Ekiti State said this amid a gathering for the Vice
Chancellor, Federal University, Oye Ekiti, Prof. Kayode Soremekun.

He faulted the monetary issues in the nation on blunder and maladministration of previous President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan.

"Have you seen an economy where marabouts are given such humongous money just on the grounds that someone needs to win a race and come back to influence at all expense. Those asking the president to leave are wicked. Buhari did not bring about what we are seeing today.

"We are discussing the individuals who were not content with taking just cash but rather even raw petroleum. It resembled enlisting vandals to arrange and superintend over the fortunes of an entire nation. That organization carried out a great deal of abominations and went to mindboggling wrongdoings upon the general population. They simply plundered Nigeria dry."

The previous representative however communicated confidence that the economy would soon enhance passing by the endeavors of the Federal Government to invert the circumstance, which, he said, were at that point yielding results.

Oni gloated that the APC would recoup Ekiti in the 2018 governorship decision, including that the matter of building up the state was a genuine one.

"You needn't bother with stargazers or seers to let you know Ekiti does not require flyovers when you can't pay rates, when numerous undertakings are left surrendered, when government workers are biting the dust of craving."

"Senator Ibikunle Amosun did not say he won't pay specialists since he is building spans in Ogun state. Amid my organization, Ekiti was number 10 on the human advancement record since we were number 24 on the wage for every capita list.

"I didn't obtain a sizable sum of wealth. I have never needed in my life. I looked for the chance to represent Ekiti on the grounds that I saw a requirement for the intercession of bona fide, individuals centered organization which my organization gave. Confirmations are there, even till today," he included.
