80-year-old woman caught with dead child in Lagos


A 80-year-old woman woman,  Kuburat Ayinde, has been captured by the police after she was gotten with a dead child kid in the Oshodi under scaffold region of Lagos State. 


The lady had supposedly kidnapped the child alive from Abeokuta, Ogun State, and
strapped him to her back. 

The newborn child, be that as it may, passed on before she touched base in Lagos. The octogenarian was captured on Sunday. 

PUNCH Metro accumulated that Ayinde needed to board a transport to Ikorodu from Oshodi at around 2pm on Sunday when a suburbanite saw that she was uneasy. 

The man and different passers-by were said to have asked her in regards to the whereabouts of the infant's mom, yet she couldn't give a persuading answer. 

It was learnt that the infant was found to be dead after the octogenarian was compelled to expel him from her back. 

A witness, Tunde Aruna, told PUNCH Metro that Ayinde would have been mobbed however for her seniority and the mediation of some elderly individuals. 

He said, "The lady landed from a transport on the way from Abeokuta and she needed to board another to Ikorodu. While she and others were sitting tight for a transport, a man saw that she was anxious. He alarmed individuals around the transport stop and they went up against her. 

"She was at first hesitant to expel the infant from her back, yet individuals undermined to thump her. When it was found that the infant was dead, she was advised to strap him to her back once more. Some criminals needed to horde her yet a few people acted the hero." 

A business driver, Dele Alabi, said the group made the suspect move around the zone with the kid strapped to her back, including that she was later given over to policemen from the Mosafejo division. 

It was assembled that Ayinde, while on the transport from Abeokuta, had been advised to put the child on her laps with the goal that he could have natural air. 

A merchant, Tayo Folawiyo, said, "A woman who boarded the same transport with the lady from Abeokuta let us know that she had requested that her expel the kid from her back while they were on the transport, yet she can't." 

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Dolapo Badmos, said the suspect asserted to be the infant's grandma, including that examination had started into the matter. 

She said, "Around 2.30pm, the lady was conveyed to the station with a dead six-month-old child, strapped to her back. She guaranteed to come back with her dead grandchild from Abeokuta to her base in Ikorodu. 

"She guaranteed the infant kicked the bucket in travel from Abeokuta on the way to Lagos and that his mom is rationally flimsy. The child has been saved in a funeral home for post-mortem examination. The case is under scrutiny."
